Our Team
All of our staff are Paediatric First Aid trained. They have an ongoing cycle of professional development to ensure that they keep up to date with guidelines and have the opportunity to develop areas of expertise in specific age ranges or curriculum areas.
Senior Management Team
Caroline (Director)
Caroline is the Director of Mossley Hill Childcare. She is a qualified teacher with 33 years of primary school experience in London and Buckinghamshire. She holds a BEd (Hons) degree from Nottingham University and a Postgraduate Certificate in Advanced Educational Practice from Oxford Brookes University.
As Headteacher of an Ofsted Outstanding primary school, Caroline led a high achieving school, but also an inclusive school, taking pride in the progress of every child, whatever their level of ability. Caroline holds the National Award for Special Educational Needs Co-ordination and spent many years working as a SENCO ensuring that every child has the opportunity to be successful, irrespective of ethnicity, gender, ability, background or barriers to learning.
Caroline is passionate about fostering a love of learning and teaching children positive learning behaviours that embrace challenge and lead to success. She is a published author of three books promoting the development of growth mindset.
Caroline is First Aid trained and has an enhanced DBS check. She is an experienced Designated Safeguarding Lead.
Paula (Manager)
Paula is the Manager of Mossley Hill Childcare. Paula has worked at the nursery since 2004. She has a NVQ Level 4 childcare qualification and Level 2 certificate in food hygiene. Paula is our Safeguarding Lead and is also a designated First Aider (Advanced Certificate). Paula is also Deputy SENCO and holds the Cache level 3 SENCO Award.
Jodie (Deputy Manager)
Jodie is our Deputy Manager and SENCO. Jodie has worked at Mossley Hill since 2006. She holds an NVQ Level 4 qualification in childcare and Cache level 3 SENCO Award.
Room Leads
Claire
Claire has an NNEB qualification in childcare. Claire is a Sunflowers Room Lead and is our Transition Lead and Communication Champion. Claire has been part of our team since September 2023.
Lucy
Lucy holds a NVQ Level 3 qualification in childcare. Lucy joined us in September 22 and is a Sunflowers Room Lead.
Louise
Louise is NVQ level 3 qualified in care learning and development. Louise joined our team in February 2015. She is a Buttercups Room Lead, a designated First Aider, Deputy SENCo and Wellcomm co-ordinator.
Hayley
Hayley is a Room Lead in the Daisy Suite. She has a level 4 qualification in childcare and has been part of the Mossley Hill team for 17 years.
Christine
Christine has an NVQ Level 3 qualification in childcare. Christine joined us in 2005 and is a Room Lead in the Daisy Suite.
Nursery Practitioners
Carla
Carla is our Deputy Safeguarding Lead. Carla has been at Mossley Hill Childcare for 18 years and has a NVQ Level 4 qualification. Carla works in our Daisy Suite.
Rebecca M
Rebecca has worked at the nursery since 2003. Rebecca has an NVQ Level 4 qualification in childcare. Rebecca is our WellComm Co-ordinator.
Rebecca D
Rebecca has worked at the nursery for 17 years. She holds a level 4 certificate in childcare and works part time in the Daisy Suite.
Shabna
Shabna is level 3 qualified and joined out team in November 2020.
Emily
Emily is level 3 qualified and joined us in July 2021.
Ellie
Ellie is a level 2 practitioner. She has been part of the team since September 22.
Amjad
Amjad is currently working towards Level 3 in childcare and works full time since March 2023.
Catherine
Catherine is working towards her Level 2 in childcare. She joined the team in May 2023.
Eshrek
Eshrek has a Level 2 in childcare. She joined us in January 2024.
Demi
Demi joined our setting in February 2024 and is qualified Level 3 in childcare.
Shamna
Shamna joined us in February 2024 and has a degree in primary education.
Rim
Rim joined us in May 2024 as an apprentice. Rim holds a certificate in supporting transition to school.
Natalie
Natalie has a level 3 certificate in childcare and joined the team in July 2024.
Cayla
Cayla joined us in October 2024 and is working towards her level 2 certificate in childcare. She holds a level 3 Health and Social Care Qualification.
